​​​Kenya Rice Todd is a seasoned, New York based, designer with over 20 years of expertise in design, product development, raw materials, procurement, and supplier relationship management having worked with brands including: Ralph Lauren, Gap, International, Victoria's Secret, Tom Ford Fragrances and Le Labo. 

 

The global pandemic provided Kenya with the opportunity to begin renovations on her turn of the century Brooklyn Brownstone and pivot from her fashion and beauty career transforming her professional skills and passion for home design into meaningful projects.

As a design professional, certified in Construction Project Management and Finance from Columbia University, Kenya’s work is dedicated to rehabilitating and creating spaces that are emotional, layered and deeply livable for homeowners in the NYC/Metropolitan area.

Based in Brooklyn, Kenya Rice Designs, is a full-service home renovation design & construction project management studio specializing in collaborative concept to construction design, project management and procurement. KRD partners with trusted Architects, contractors and custom millworkers on residential projects. ​

**Kenya ​​​is a proud fourth generation Brooklynite, and Howard University graduate, who inherited her family's deep and abiding love for Brooklyn architecture and for Brownstones especially. She learned the importance of care and thoughtfulness required to truly honor an old home which allows her to create emotionally connected spaces.
